QR codes have revolutionized how we share and access information. Our free QR code generator makes it easy to create professional, customizable QR codes for any purpose.
Quick Response (QR) codes are two-dimensional barcodes that can store various types of information, from simple text to complex data like URLs, contact information, and WiFi credentials.
QR codes work with any smartphone camera or QR scanner app. They're supported across all platforms - iOS, Android, and desktop devices - making them perfect for universal access.
No typing required! Users can instantly access websites, download apps, connect to WiFi, or view contact information with a simple scan. It's convenience at its finest.
Direct users to your website, landing pages, or specific product pages without typing long URLs.
Share WiFi credentials instantly. Guests can connect to your network without asking for passwords.
Share business cards digitally. Include phone numbers, emails, addresses, and social media profiles.
Pre-fill email addresses and message content, making it easy for customers to contact you.
No hidden fees, subscriptions, or watermarks. Generate unlimited QR codes at no cost.
Customize colors, sizes, error correction levels, and output formats to match your brand.
All processing happens in your browser. Your data never leaves your device.
Download in PNG, JPEG, or SVG formats for web, print, or scalable applications.
Follow these best practices to create QR codes that scan perfectly every time and provide the best user experience.
Always test your QR codes with different devices and scanning apps to ensure compatibility.
Ensure your QR code is large enough to scan easily. Minimum recommended size is 2x2 cm for print.
Use high contrast between foreground and background colors for better scanning reliability.
Include a call-to-action near your QR code so users know what to expect when they scan it.
Yes, the QR codes you generate are permanent and will work indefinitely. They contain the data directly within the code itself, so they don't rely on our servers or any external services.
QR codes can store up to 4,296 alphanumeric characters, 2,953 bytes, 1,817 Kanji characters, or 7,089 numeric digits. However, the more data you include, the more complex the code becomes, which may affect scanning reliability.
Our basic QR codes don't include tracking capabilities as they work offline. For tracking, you would need to use a URL shortener with analytics (like bit.ly) and create a QR code for that shortened URL.
Error correction allows QR codes to be readable even when partially damaged. Low (7%) is fine for digital use, Medium (15%) for most print applications, Quartile (25%) for environments where damage is likely, and High (30%) for maximum reliability at the cost of larger code size.
